This was our first trip since COVID and while we were prepared we still had questions and concerns. Waking up to the most beautiful sunrise ***** We hope to be back to Sea Song in the future! The return test is automatically scheduled by the Bermuda Gvmt. Hamilton is very easy to get to for your return COVID test (which is required for US reentry as of March 12, 2022).
SONG DOWN IN BERMUDA FULL
You can easily walk to a convenience store or, if feeling a bit more adventurous, walk to a full grocery store (Lindo's) along a section of the rail way trail. Stephen is very communicative before you arrive and Gordon and Andre (on site) are super helpful and available to help get you around the island, provide recommendations, or whatever else you need. Sea song is very nice and spacious and the kitchen is well appointed. The sand is simply better on Bermuda and the water is amazing. Its a few steps down to the beach.but it feels incredibly secluded and private. The beach is without a doubt the best I have ever been on. Sea Song is a great spot! The views from the patio are amazing (like other reviews say, the pictures simply cannot capture it!). When we return to Bermuda we will certainly consider staying here again. The porch overlooks the ocean and we spent most of our time in the mornings and evenings hanging out on the patio. There were 2 adults and 2 kids and we had plenty of space. The house is very comfortable providing everything we needed. It is nice to mix things up after spending all day at the beach.
Across the street is a public park, Southlands, that is very pretty with large Banyan trees providing shade and nice walking trails. The beach is amazing and beautiful, you can almost stay at Marley Beach and avoid the trip to other more popular beaches. The location is convenient being more in the middle of the island, a bus stop at the bottom of the hill, Lost in the Triangle Pub is a few min walk for food and drinks and lastly there is a gas station within a few min walk that serves prepared food and makes it easy to get last min things.
We loved the location and private Marley Beach. However, this theory has also not been completely validated, as according to the United States Geological Survey, there had been no large release of gas hydrates in the Bermuda Triangle region for more than 15,000 years.This is our second trip to Bermuda. Experiments have revealed that the ignition of methane bubbles caused by lightning or an electrical spark can lead to the sinking of ships. Scientists have also attributed the destruction of ships and airplanes in this region to the pockets of methane hydrates, which are present in large quantities at the bottom of the ocean. In addition to this, the unpredictable violent weather of the Caribbean-Atlantic region likely also led to many incidents in the Bermuda Triangle region. This major surface current is extremely swift and turbulent and can quickly disperse any evidence of a disaster. Another popular theory is about the nature of the Gulf Stream. This magnetic anomaly is believed to be largely responsible for navigational errors and subsequent catastrophes in this region. It is believed that the Bermuda Triangle region is one of the few places on earth where magnetic compass point towards the true geographic north. Some sources have attributed most of the disappearances to the unique environmental features of the area. However, there are still few proven explanations regarding the mysterious disappearances of the ships and airplanes in this region. Although several theories exist, most official sources do not recognize the Bermuda Triangle as a mysterious place.
